YEAH!!!! Singapore women's table-tennis won Silver in the 2008 Olympics!!

All right!!! I'm so delighted that Singapore women's table-tennis won Silver in the 2008 Olympics. China won Gold and Korea won Bronze. Japan 4th place.

The paddlers who represented Singapore: Feng Tianwei, Li Jiawei (Captain) and Wang Yuegu.

Feng Tianwei was the heroine in the Semi-Finals for putting Singapore in the Finals!

Though these players are from China, it doesn't make any difference at all as they chose to come to Singapore as immigrants. Hence, they are considered one of us. ^^

I'm so proud of them! Thank you for winning a medal for Singapore as we have not won any medal for 48 years. Cheers for us!!!!!

House Games at Jenn's place

Went over to Jenn's house for house games on Saturday, 09.08.08. Supposed to have 6 people in total.... but 2 couldn't make it in the last minute. Sigh...

Xin Jian and I arrived late as we went to buy drinks and chips at FairPrice (NTUC). Then headed to a florist to get flowers for Jenn's mother and got sugarcane drinks for everyone.

I bought this bouquet of flowers for Jenn's mother for her birthday and as a token of appreciation for tidying up the place for us.







Scrabble was the first game we played.









Jenga was the second game we played.












Uno was the last game we played.

Jenn's mom prepared dinner for us. So sweet of her. =)







And she even made us desserts!! Thinking that we might not be full from dinner. kekeke... (must be the size of the boys) yuk yuk!

Here is me, fooling around... and it was infectious!

Left Jenn's house at 9-ish as Xin Jian had to work at 10pm. I wonder whose house we are gonna raid next.... hahahaha =P


Caught a movie at 1.35pm with Xin Jian before heading to Jenn's house.


It was a fun day on Singapore's National Day.
